Isle of Man Airport March 2006 Air Passenger Figures

AIRPORT DIRECTOR'S COMMENTS

As expected, these figures are down due to the late Easter holiday which falls entirely in April this year. Nevertheless, it is still our second best March total ever.

There have been some further changes between airlines during March, with Aer Arann coming off the Manchester route; and Eastern Airways coming off the Leeds route, but starting Southampton.

The proportions of passenger carried by each airline has changed again to become:

Euromanx 35%; BA Connect 29.7%; Aer Arann 17.5%; Eastern 6.4%; Flybe 4%; Brtitish NorthWest 2.6%; Loganair (British Airways) 2.4%; VLM 1%; and Charter flights 1.2%.

A full breakdown of the figures can be found below.
