Aircraft Incident 18 January 2007

The aircraft was a LET410 aircraft, carrying 2 crew and 2 passengers was departing for Blackpool, operated by Manx 2.

No-one was hurt, although the aircraft has been damaged. The passengers have returned to the Terminal, and are booked to fly another day. The particular Blackpool flight has been subsequently cancelled.

The Airport was closed for a period whilst the aircraft was secured, however it has now reopened.

Due to wind conditions both in the UK and at the Isle of Man, many flights have been cancelled. Passengers due to fly today, are advised to contact their airline for an update.
