Clubman Status Stages Winter Rally Order 2007 - Roads closed to the public 28 February 2007

The Department of Transport gives notice that by an Order made under the provisions of the Road Races Act 1982, the sections of roads set out below and described in the paragraphs below (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Course’) during the period of time set out therein (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Race Periods”) will be closed to traffic for motor car races on

FRIDAY 9 MARCH 2007

STAGES 1 & 4 - GLENEEDLE

6.30PM TO 10.30PM

The C17 Slieau Whallian Road from its junction with the Kerrowdhoo Farm Road to its junction with the A36 Shoulder Road at the Round Table. The Shoulder Road from the Round Table to its junction with the A3 Foxdale to Castletown Road.

STAGES 2 & 5 - LHERGYDHOO

7.00PM TO 11.00PM

The D20 Ballagyr Lane from its junction with the A4 Peel to Kirk Michael Coast Road to its junction with the D76 East Lhergydhoo Road. The East Lhergydhoo Road from its junction with Ballagyr Lane to its junction with the C3 Switchback Road. The Switchback Road from its junction with the Lhergydhoo Road to its junction with the C25 Staarvey Road. The Staarvey Road from its junction with the Switchback Road to its junction with the C5 Ballabooie Road.

STAGES 3 & 6 - COLDEN

7.20PM TO 11.20PM

The B22 Injebreck/West Baldwin Road (including the slip road) from its junction with the B10 Brandywell Road to its junction with the A23 Strang to Crosby Road. The Strang Road to Crosby Road from its junction with the West Baldwin Road to a point adjacent to Eyreton Farm.

SATURDAY 10 MARCH 2007

STAGES 7 & 9 – THE LHEN

9.00AM TO 1.00PM

The C7 Rhendhoo Road from its junction with the A13 Sandygate Road to its junction with the B3 Jurby East Road. The Jurby East Road from its junction with Rhendhoo Road to its junction with the B13 Bretney Road. The Bretney Road from its junction with the Jurby East Road to its junction with the A10 Ballaugh to Ramsey Coast Road. The Ballaugh to Ramsey Coast Road from its junction with Jurby East Road to its junction with the B6 Andreas to Smeale Road. The Andreas to Smeale Road from its junction with the Ramsey Coast Road up to a point approximately 100 metres north of the Ballalough Estate.

STAGES 8 & 10 – DOLLAGH

9.30AM TO 1.30PM

The B9 Ballacrye Road from a point adjacent to the property known as Elmville to its junction with the C30 Ballaterson Road. The Ballaterson Road from its junction with the Ballacrye Road to its junction with the C31 Dollagh Mooar Road. The Dollagh Mooar Road from its junction with the Ballaterson Road to its junction with the C29 Old Windmill Road. The Old Windmill Road from its junction with the Dollagh Mooar Road to its junction with the Ballacrye Road. The Ballacrye Road from its junction with the Old Windmill Road to its junction with Dollagh Road. The Dollagh Road from its junction with the Ballacrye Road to its junction with the A10 Ballaugh to Cronk Road. The Ballaugh to Cronk Road from its junction with the Dollagh Road to its junction with the Ballaugh Loop Road. The Ballaugh Loop Road from its junction with the Cronk Road to its junction with the Ballacrye Road. The Ballacrye Road from its junction with the Ballaugh Loop Road to its junction with the A13 Ballamona Road (including the section of the Ballaugh to Ramsey Coast Road linking the Ballacrye Road and the Ballamona Road). The Ballamona Road from its junction with the Ballacrye Road to its junction with the C28 Killane Road. The Killane Road from its junction with the Ballamona Road to its junction with the A10 Ballaugh to Ramsey Coast Road. The Ballaugh to Ramsey Coast Road from its junction with the Killane Road to its junction with the B5 Ballavarran Road at Jurby West. The Ballavarran Road from its junction with the Ballaugh to Ramsey Coast Road to its junction with the Ramsey to Cronk Road. The Ramsey to Cronk Road from its junction with the Ballavarran Road to a point adjacent to the Ballamoar Cottages.

STAGES 11 & 13 – THOLT-Y-WILL

12.30PM TO 4.30PM

The A14 Sulby Glen Road from point adjacent to the Sulby Water Treatment Works to a point adjacent to the Millennium Way Footpath above Tholt-y-Will Glen.

STAGES 12 & 14 – DRUIDALE

1.00PM TO 5.00PM

The B10 Brandywell Road from a point adjacent to the Millennium Way Footpath to its junction with the C37 Druidale Road. The whole of the Druidale Road from its junction with the Brandywell Road to its junction with the Ballaugh Glen Road.

GENERAL

Each section of any of the roads specified in the foregoing paragraphs of each section shall include such portion of any road leading into it for a distance of 150 metres from the point where that portion joins the section aforementioned, as indicated by barriers and diversion signs.
