Winter Bus Timetables 11 November 2003

The 2003/2004 Winter Bus and Rail timetable book is now available free of charge. Online Bus & Railway timetables can also be obtained free of charge on the Isle of Man Guide.

Included in the publication are full details of all bus and rail services including the additional bus journeys introduced recently serving the new Noble's Hospital at Braddan and the seven days a week winter operation of the Manx Electric Railway. There are also details of how to book seats for the Santa Steam Trains on the Isle of Man Railway.

The timetables are available from the Travel Shop in Lord Street, Douglas, and Transport Headquarters at Banks Circus, Douglas, together with the Tourist Information Centre in the Sea Terminal, Douglas.

Tourism Minister David Cretney commented: 'The new timetable lists for the first time all the bus services to the new hospital. There are now more connections available from Lord Street, while my Department continues to look at other ways we can improve the service.'

David Howard, Director of Public Transport, said: 'I am pleased once again to make available comprehensive timetable information for the operations of Isle of Man Transport free of charge to both residents and visitors alike.'

The Isle of Man Guide is pleased to announce that its Online Bus & Railway Timetables have also been updated to include changes which were made to routes in general. Changes for the hospital had been implemented on July 14th when they became effective.
