Record August for Airport 9 September 2004

It was a record August for Ronaldsway Airport. This August appears to have been the busiest month ever, and the first month ever to exceed 75,000 passengers.

The two routes fuelling this growth have been Liverpool (up 4,530 passengers or 29%) and Stansted (3,106 passengers).

The volumes carried by each airline continue to change, with BA CitiExpress now carrying 33%; EuroManx 22%; Flybe and Emerald in joint third place with 15% each; and Eastern with 6%. Aer Arann, British North West, FlyKeen and Loganair carry 8% combined.
