Design & Technology Awards 2005 1 July 2005

    The final entries for the Design & Technology Awards 2005 will be on display in the Atrium at St George's Court from 7th - 12th July. This exhibition is sponsored by Ramsey Rotary Club and has been organised between the Department, the Island's five secondary school and King William's College.

    This will be an opportunity for the public to view work from Manx students, including the Island's GCSE and A level pupils, in categories such as: Commercial Potential, Control systems / technological innovation, Craftsmanship and Graphical Communication.

    There will also be an overall award for Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5 pupils and the Rotary Club of Ramsey Shield for Design and Technology.

    Judges for this event are the President of Ramsey Rotary Club and Mrs Penny Creighton MBE who will judge the GCSE entries; and Mr John Parker, Adviser for Northampton LEA and a representative from Strix Ltd of Castletown will judge the A level entries.

    Judging and the prize presentation will take place on Tuesday 12th July from 6.30 pm in the Atrium.
