The Future of Manx Agriculture 28 April 2006

Are you involved with Manx agriculture in any way? Do you have views on the future of Manx agriculture?

If so, there will be an opportunity for you to set out your ideas to the 2010 Committee. The Committee was established to identify a long-term strategy for Manx agriculture, particularly with the withdrawal of the Island’s meat derogation after December 2010.

The Committee would welcome your thoughts on the objectives and strategies for the future direction of the Manx agricultural industry.

If you would like to share your views with the Committee, there will be an opportunity on Wednesday morning, 10 May, and throughout the day on Friday 12 May.

To take advantage of this opportunity, interested parties should contact the Douglas offices of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry – telephone 685838.

For further information, please contact Mr Richard Lole (telephone 687344).
