Onchan Torchlight Procession Order 2006 24 November 2006

Under Section 38 of the Highways Act 1986, the Department gives notice that the following roads in Onchan shall be closed between 6.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. on Tuesday 5 December 2006 whilst Onchan Torchlight Procession takes place:-

Summerhill Road from Hague Drive to Main Road/Whitebridge Road, Main Road/Whitebridge Road from Lazy Corner to School Road, School Road from Main Road/Whitebridge Road to Second Avenue, Second Avenue from School Road to the Springfield Court Complex.

In the event of adverse weather conditions the Procession will take place on Wednesday 6 December 2006 at the same time and following the same route. Copies of the Order are available for inspection at the Department’s Offices or any Police Station.

An offence against the Order will render the offender liable to a fine of £2,500.
