Celebration Set concludes the Isle of Man Post Office TT memorabilia collection 15 May 2007

An exclusive set of TT 2007 memorabilia has been unveiled by Isle of Man Post Office. The limited edition set of 1,000 is bursting with a unique array of must-have TT collectables capturing the action and atmosphere of the 100th TT.

The Celebration Set includes a special edition hardbook copy of the TT 2007 official programme which will include race results and an exclusive edition of TT 2007, the review book of the Centenary Races from Lily Publications. Each volume of the 160-page full colour leather-effect bound book, containing a TT 2007 winner’s pictorial sheet of stamps, will be presented with a certificate of authenticity, numbered and signed by celebrated author Mick Duckworth.

Meanwhile the set will include a special reproduction copy of the very original 1907 TT programme together with the timekeeper’s notes plus a very special cover featuring the Stanley Woods TT stamp with a unique one day only Post Mark denoting 10.00am, 28th May 2007 – exactly 100 years after the start of the first race around the original TT course. The first 1,000 of the covers will be signed by ex-World Champion John Surtees MBE. The signed cover is absolutely exclusive to this Celebration Collection.

Also adding to the collection is a numbered copy of the official TT 2007 DVD review from Duke and a specially commissioned Isle of Man Treasury coin marking the TT Centenary. All Celebration Sets will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and will be hand-signed by a yet to be revealed leading TT rider!

2007 TT Celebration Sets, priced £175.00, can be ordered by calling the Philatelic Bureau hotline on 01624 698430 or online www.iomttraces.com
