Further Boost to Channel Islands Route - New Aircraft and 40% more seats 24 October 2007

Following a 40% increase in capacity from the Isle of Man to the Channel Islands in July, Guernsey based airline Blue Islands have announced that they are increasing the number of seats by on the route by a further 40% with the introduction of the larger Dornier 328 airliner.

From 6 November the fast and comfortable Do328 propjet will add a new dimension to this popular direct service between the two offshore finance centres. Journey time will be cut by 15 minutes, there will be a full hostess service introduced and the number of seats on each Do328 flight will increase from 18 to 31. Moreover, in addition to the regular morning weekday services, Blue Islands will be introducing a Friday afternoon flight.
