Easter Egg Hunt at the House of Manannan 20 March 2008

visitors get involved with the Easter fun Between Friday 21st March and Sunday 6th April 2008, Manx National Heritage will be holding an Easter Egg Hunt at the House of Manannan. Everyday, throughout the Easter Holidays, all children visiting the House of Manannan will be able to search the galleries for hidden clues leading to a special Easter-themed surprise.

All those successfully completing the Easter Egg Hunt will be entered into a daily prize draw to win a specially decorated Easter egg, handmade by Manx chocolate makers, Davison’s of Peel.

For all those who aren’t too exhausted at the end of the Easter Egg Hunt trail, there’ll be some Easter themed craft activities and colouring sheets available for children to take home.

Phil Hollis, Site Manager at the House of Manannan, said:

“The Easter Egg Hunt promises to be fun for children of all ages, as they search for clues in the galleries throughout the House of Manannan. Entry sheets will be available at the House of Manannan throughout the Easter Holidays, where there will also be ‘eggs-travagant’ prizes waiting for the lucky winners”.

Standing by Peel Harbour, the House of Manannan provides an absorbing day out for all of the family. Through state of the art display techniques the Island’s Celtic, Viking and Maritime past is revealed by Manannan, mythological sea-god and protector of the Island.

The House of Manannan is part of the award-winning Story of Mann and is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm. Normal admission prices apply.
