Bat Group Walk 25 August 2004

The Manx Bat Group will be holding a public bat walk in Glen Wyllin, Michael, on Saturday 28th August.

Members will be present with bat detectors to locate and identify any bats found flying in the Glen to add to the Bat Group's records but also to explain to the public about bat identification and ecology.

The walk will be preceded with a barbecue which the public are also welcome to attend, starting at the bottom of the Glen at 7pm. Any members of the public attending should bring their own food and drink.

The bat walk will commence at dusk which, depending on weather conditions, should be around 8.30pm.
