History
The park was given to Douglas Corporation by the Noble Trustees in April
1909. One of the many good works done for the Island with the money of
Henry Bloom Noble, who died in 1903.
The park had an extensive makeover, which included the newly built
Noble's Pavilion. Built at a cost of 2 million pounds, the modern
leisure complex features a 1500 sq ft restaurant on the ground level,
which opens unto an
extensive terrace and landscape garden. The first floor is a 1,273
community room with kitchen and balcony for private hire. Also included
at the complex
are changing rooms, showers, toilets, lockers as well as offical rooms.
The centenary bandstand, which was previously located at the Villa Marina
has moved next to the leisure centre.
Location
In Upper Douglas, near the TT Grandstand just off Glencrutchery Road.
By Vehicle:
Travel to Douglas and then along the sea front, turn onto Broadway and then
at the road split take the right road (Ballaquayle Road). At the next main
road turn right onto Glencrutchery Road, which will shortly lead to the
Grandstand. There is also Parking in Noble's on St Ninians Road right turn
off Ballaquayle Road, when following instructions as above.
By Bus:
Douglas can be reached using most main bus routes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6,
as well as many other minor routes. On the island most routes lead to
or from Douglas. From the promenade follow the route taken by vehicles
above or take a bus going to Willaston.

Visiting Noble's Park
A beautiful and well maintained park, set between Douglas and Onchan.
Children and adults will find the open fields well worth a visit. There are
paved paths throughout the park, making access easy. Limited parking is
available on site, but most of the roads around the park offer parking.
The younger children's play area has a large selection of modern play
equipment designed for younger children. The area is completely enclosed
making it a safe place to play. There are bicycles, small cars, scooters, etc
available for all children as well as a dedicated path for them to really enjoy
their wheels!
