NSC Gym & Spa Suite
InformationThe Fitness Zone - Gym and Spa Suite
The Fitness Zone provides a comprehensive range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment. The adjacent health suite has sauna cabins, steam room and a whirlpool spa (Jacuzzi).
Prior to using the gym, all new visitors are required to attend an induction course to ensure that they are able to use the equipment safely. The induction courses are operated on a pre book and pay basis only, so please call the NSC reception team in advance to ask for the required session and they will arrange this for you.
Induction sessions are held every day at 11:00am & 1:00pm, and take approximately 60 minutes to complete. If you wish to try the equipment during the induction please wear suitable clothing.
Customers are respectfully reminded that users must be aged 16 or over.
Who needs a Gym Induction?
Anyone who wants to use the NSC Fitness Zone gym needs to have an induction, regardless of past experience or qualifications.
What is a Gym Induction?
Basically, a Gym Induction is your opportunity to experience the following:
How long will it last?
Inductions will take 45-60 minutes depending on the size of the group. Maximum group size is 5 persons and the induction will be taken by a qualified instructor.
What do I wear?
We strongly advise that you wear suitable sports wear.
Do I need to do anything?
An induction entitles you to use the NSC Fitness Zone at your leisure, however, failure to attend 'the gym' within a 12 month period, may result in a re-take of the induction charged at normal rate.
You must book and pay for your induction in person at the NSC reception.
