The Isle of Man has a wide range of still water locations around the island.
Each one offers a contrast of scenery and landscape for walking, fishing and
other
recreational activities. Most of the reservoirs are regularly stocked with
fish.
Anglers should try out a variety of bate and tackle. What works elsewhere
might not work on Manx Fish, be flexible and you will be rewarded.
There is ample parking near most of the reservoirs with the exception
being Block Eairy, where disabled access is limited. Anglers should
always check their
license is up to date and that they are aware of the restrictions for
the reservoir they are visit. like
size of catch and time of the year. Walkers should consider the wildlife
and natural vegetation. Keep to the paths if requested and follow notices
displayed.
