STORYLINE
SYNOPSIS |
A modern adaptation of the classic story Cinderella, set in the 1950's.
When Martin, a nobleman and widower remarries, he receives more then he
bargains for. His new wife turns out to be a money hungry woman, who has
already gone through two husbands. For Claudette her new husband is not
the rich noble she thought he was and so she begins to poison him. Zezolla,
Martin's daughter, is forced to be a servant in her own house by her new step
mother and step sisters, who nick name her Cinderella. But all hope is not
lost and with the help of a mermaid, Zezolla manages to get to the Royal Ball.
There she takes the eye of the young, rock and roll Prince Valliant, before
disappearing at midnight leaving only her shoe behind.
