On A Clear Day showing at Broadway cinema 12 October 2005 Isle of Man made movie, On A Clear Day is currently showing at The Broadway cinema in Douglas. The Film was shot in the island last year and tells the story of Frank who loses his job at the shipyards and has nothing to fall back on except his swimming. With a group of friends to help and hinder him, Frank embarks upon a personal challenge – swimming the Channel! The story is full of comedy and pathos, but culminates with Frank being reborn to be reconciled with Rob and gaining new love for and from his wife Joan.
