Test of Public Warning Sirens 26 September 2005

    A routine quarterly test of the all-Island Public Warning Siren system will take place at 11am on Saturday 1st October 2005.

    The public warning sirens at 31 sites around the Island will be activated at 11am, and will sound a steady note for fifteen seconds, signifying “all clear”.

    Local radio stations will be publicising the test throughout.

    Routine tests take place quarterly at 11am on the first Saturday in January, April, July and October.
