Al-Qa’Ida and Taliban (United Nations Measures) (Isle Of Man) Order 2002 23 September 2005

    The Commission have been notified that on 21st September 2005 the Isle of Man Treasury issued an alert giving details of an additional individual who had been added to the list of persons maintained pursuant to UN Security Council Resolution 1390. The additional individual is included in the revised edition of Treasury Sanctions Notice 9 announced by the Treasury on 19th September 2005 but the new entry may not have come to the notice of institutions.

    The Isle of Man Treasury has advised that institutions should check their accounts and records and freeze any accounts or other funds that they discover related to this individual. Institutions should report to the Isle of Man Treasury, Sanctions Officer details of any assets which are frozen:
