Large increase in visitor numbers to the Wildlife Park 12 September 2005

Staff at the Curraghs Wildlife Park are very pleased with the latest visitor figures for August.

There has been a twenty per cent rise in overall visitor numbers over August last year and numbers look set to rise in excess of 40,000 paying visitors for the first time in nearly twenty years.

General Manager, Nick Pinder, commented; “We’re naturally very pleased that so many visitors have helped us celebrate our fortieth anniversary this year. We like to think the Wildlife Park is continually improving and continued increases in visitor numbers backs up this view.”

The Wildlife Park remains open on a daily basis until the end of October, from 10 am to 6 pm, following which it will be open on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the winter and daily during school breaks.
