Temporary relocation of TT Grandstand recycling banks 17 August 2005

    The Department of Local Government and the Environment is advising the public that the recycling banks at the TT Grandstand, Glencrutchery Road, have been temporarily relocated to Noble’s Park Entrance, St Ninian’s Road for the duration of the Manx Grand Prix Races and the TT Car Centenary event.

    The Department is encouraging members of the public to continue to recycle their paper, glass and aluminium during this time by using one of the following alternative sites:

    Noble’s Park entrance, St Ninians Road, Douglas

    • Shoprite overflow car park, Victoria Road, Douglas

    • Tesco - Lake Road, Douglas

    Onchan District Commissioners, Main Road, Onchan

    The recycling banks will be returned to the TT Grandstand site on Tuesday 13th September, when the motorsport events have finished.
