All Island Siren Activation 8 July 2005

    The 60th Anniversary Committee (comprising repsentatives of various Isle of Man ex-service associations) have asked for the all-Island public warning siren system to be activated at 12noon this Sunday 10th July 2005 as part of the national commemoration of the end of World War 2.

    The sirens will sound the all clear for 15 seconds at 12noon and this will be followed by the ringing of church bells.

    There is no need to take any action upon hearing the public warning sirens at 12noon on Sunday 10th July 2005
