Tchibo Product Recall - Dummy Chain 7 July 2005

The Office of Fair Trading and Shoprite are asking anyone who bought a Tchibo baby Dummy Chain, article number 223209, in the Food4Less store in Chester Street during June to return it to the store. The chains have been recalled following Tchibo's concerns about their quality.

37 of the Dummy Chains, which were priced at £2.99, were sold by the store. 26 of the purchasers have been identified through Shoprite's Clubmann Card system and Shoprite will be contacting these people individually by letter or telephone to advise them of the problem.

Shoprite ask anyone who has bought a Dummy Chain to return it as soon as possible to Food4Less or any other Shoprite store for a full refund.

The Office of Fair Trading congratulates Shoprite on its responsible attitude to the problem.
