Be Seen, Be Safe 5 January 2006

The Crystal Project team presented a pair of Reflexite Slappits to every child at Willaston School last week, in an initiative supported by the Department of Transport’s Road Safety Unit. The hi-viz slappits can be used on wrists, bike frames or bag straps and could prove to be a lifesaver with the dark mornings and evenings at this time of year.

“We are always pleased to be able to support the local community through such initiatives. The presentation coincides with the contractors, Earth Tech Engineering Limited and sub-contractors Charles Brand (IoM) Limited’s achievement of more than 25,000 accident-free man hours on site where work is progressing well and is currently approximately one month ahead of schedule.”
