Reminder - Companies Registry Fees 19 January 2006

The annual return filing fee for an Isle of Man company and an LLC increased from £60 to £70 on the 1st January 2006. The fee was last increased on 1st August 2003.

Tynwald approved the following fees orders on 16th November 2005:

SD 767/05 - Companies (Fees And Duties) (Amendment) Order 2005
SD 768/05 - Limited Liability Companies (Fees and Duties) (Amendment) Order 2005

The Financial Supervision Commission undertook a strategic review of all the fees charged in he Companies Registry early in 2005. As a result of the review and discussions with Company Registry users and Treasury, a number of fees remained unchanged and the others were increased in August 2005. However, it was decided to delay increasing the annual return-filing fee until the 1st January 2006 to help Corporate Service Providers with their client billing arrangements.

As the fee has now increased, please ensure you send in the correct fee when you submit your annual return in order to avoid the document being rejected.

Details of all Companies Registry fees are available in a Practice Note, PN 2/2006 – Companies Registry Fees which is available on our web site and from the Companies Registry.
