IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE - RECALL HP Photosmart R707 Digital Camera 16 June 2006

The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading is asking anyone who bought a Hewlett Packard Photosmart R707 Digital Camera to contact Hewlett Packard immediately as the product has been recalled due to a potential fire hazard which relates to non-rechargeable batteries. The camera can cause certain non-rechargeable batteries to overheat when the camera is connected to an AC adapter or docking station, posing a fire hazard.

The recall only involves the Hewlett Packard Photosmart R707 Digital Camera. The Hewlett Packard (HP) logo and model name and number are printed on the front of the camera.
