Tower Insurance Join Friends of Manx National Heritage as Corporate Members 27 June 2006

Tower Insurance are the latest corporate member to join The Friends of Manx National Heritage corporate scheme. To mark the occasion David Stacey, Managing Director of Tower Insurance, and members of the Tower staff visited Laxey Wheel to use their new corporate cards for the first time.

Nicola Pemberton, Development and Administration Officer of The Friends of Manx National Heritage, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Tower Insurance as corporate members of FMNH and hope that their staff will enjoy the many benefits of membership”.

David Stacey, Managing Director of Tower Insurance, said:

“Manx National Heritage has many high quality sites on the Island and through this scheme, we can encourage our own staff to visit them and at the same time, we can provide some financial support to the Friends of Manx National Heritage”.

Tower Insurance staff will now benefit from free admission to all of the Story of Mann sites as well as free or reduced entry to National Trust, English Heritage, Scottish National Trust and Historic Scotland.

Corporate Membership benefits include special access to The Story of Mann sites for corporate entertaining in some of the most atmospheric settings on the Island. These include the new National Art Gallery, the Natural History Gallery and the new Niarbyl Café and Visitor Centre, as well as the more established venues of the Manx Museum, Castle Rushen, the House of Manannan and the Old House of Keys. Other benefits include complimentary use of one of the many conference facilities, membership marketing support and a framed canvas reproduction of a painting in the National collection.
