Athol Street, Douglas - temporary road closure this weekend 28 September 2006

The Department of Transport wishes to advise motorists that from 8.00am on Saturday 30th September 2006 until 6.00pm on Sunday 1st October 2006, Athol Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic from its junction with Lord Street/Peel Road for a distance of approximately 100 metres, which will also include the St Georges Street junction.

Access will still be available to the remainder of Athol Street from Prospect Hill to Upper and Lower Church Street.

This temporary road closure will enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. The Department wishes to apologise in advance for any inconvenience these essential works may cause.
