Isle of Man Film Announces next Production 31 July 2006

After a busy week following the successful release of Stormbreaker, Isle of Man Film is expecting its next Production, Deaths of Ian to arrive on the Island on 31st July.

Starring Christina Cole (‘Casino Royale’, ‘Hex’) and Mike Vogel (‘Poseidon’, ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’) the film tells the story of an all-American guy who is murdered each day by horrifying pursuers, only to wake up in slightly different lives to experience the terror of being murdered again.

It is to be produced by Brian Gilbert and Stan Winston of Stan Winston Studios in Los Angeles together with Ralph Kamp of Odyssey Entertainment. Stan Winston is renowned for his special effects, having created The Terminator character for the film of the same name and famously did all the “live action” dinosaur sequences on the Jurassic Park films. As well as creating the special make-up effects on Edward Scissorhands Winston has done such contemporary films as Pearl Harbour, Artificial Intelligence and Constantine.

Deaths of Ian is filming on the Island for 3 weeks at various locations around the Island.
