Marown School Art Exhibition 9 November 2006

ART collectors can bag a bargain at Marown School on November 21.

Pupils have been busy creating works of art to sell that evening. Head teacher Carol Maddrell said:

‘The whole school has been involved. We will be selling the finished products to parents at an art exhibition.’

Miss Maddrell added: ‘We have had local artists into school.

‘The children have been doing a variety of things including painting, willow weaving, illustrating books they have written, making clay models, 3D paper portraits and rag rugs, decorating plates and plant pots and crafting Christmas cards.
‘It was an art week where children have been off timetable all week.’
