DHSS Finance Director Leaving Post 24 November 2006

David Rogers, Director of FinanceThe Department of Health and Social Security today (Friday 24th November) announced that David Rogers, the Department’s Finance Director will leave his post in February next year, and will relocate to the UK and rejoin the private sector.

David Killip, Chief Executive said,

“For almost four years, David’s contribution to the Department has been invaluable. He has been instrumental in developing the role of the Finance Directorate to enable it to meet demands placed upon it both now and in the future. His experience and personality will be missed in the challenging times ahead for the DHSS. On behalf of the Department, I wish David the best of luck in his future career and all the best to him and his wife, Marijke.”

Steve Rodan MHK, Minister for Health and Social Security said,

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank David for his commitment to the Department and its Finance Directorate. He has been at the helm of some major changes and the milestone we have reached, could not have been achieved without his ability, commitment and drive.”

David Rogers joined the Department in April 2003. During his time with the Department, he has undertaken a review of the role of the Finance Directorate and its structure and been instrumental in the introduction of a number of efficiency improvements.
