New premises for Pulrose Post Office 12 December 2006

Isle of Man Post Office is delighted to announce that Pulrose Post Office is now operating from new premises in Alder Road, Pulrose, Douglas. The new location replaces the former Post Office in Pulrose Road.

Still headed by sub postmaster Alan Clucas, the Post Office will continue to offer the wide range of services provided by Isle of Man Post Office including Department of Health and Social Security payment of benefit cheques, pensions and allowances, saving stamps, postal services, the payment of bills and much more. It will be open between 0900 and 1730 Monday to Friday and 0900 to 1230 on Saturdays.

Chairman of Isle of Man Post Office, Pamela M Crowe MLC, feels the new Pulrose Post Office will be well received by residents in the area and those passing through.

She said: “We are confident the residents of the area will welcome the new premises and the post office will lie in the heart of the new wonderful community that the Isle of Man Government has created in Pulrose.”
