Rushen School marks Christmas 20 December 2006

KEY Stage 1 pupils at Rushen School enjoyed a Christmas day out to remember.

Teacher Meryl McKenna said: Rushen School pupils in church

'We first went to Marown Church as guests of the Reverend Ian Davies and Marown School Key Stage 1 and all the children took part in a joint carol service with refreshments afterwards.
'We then went to Braddan church as guests of the Reverend Philip and Mrs Frear. Mrs Frear organised four Christmas activities for the children in Braddan Old Church and she explained the significance of each activity.
'They made a Christingle orange, an advent crown, a bauble and did Christmas worksheets.
'We would like to say thanks to them all for their hospitality and the children have remarked it was one of the best ever trips.'
