First Ladies Sports Morning 5 January 2007

The first Ladies Sports Morning took place at the NSC just before Christmas. All twelve participants enjoyed the opportunity to play badminton, table tennis and squash. The session is not prescriptive, a number of ladies enjoyed playing all three activities while others just played their preferred racket sport.

The emphasis was very much on fun and having a go. A coach was on hand to offer help with the basic skills but essentially everyone who attended was just happy to pick up a racket or bat and start playing. Ability or previous experience was not a barrier and if anyone is looking to embark on an active 2007 with an enjoyable, friendly activity the Ladies Sports Mornings are well worth trying.

The first session in 2007 is on Monday 8th January starting at 9.30am. Court time is available until 11.30am although the time spent on court is very much up to the individual. The cost is £2.50 including light refreshments.
