Arbory Speed Limit Orders 6 March 2007

The Department gives notice that it intends to make the following Orders under Section 24 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1985:-

1. A7 MAIN ROAD (ARBORY) (TEMPORARY IMPOSITION OF 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2007 the effect of which will be to impose a 20 mph speed limit on the A7 Main Road, Arbory, from a point 235 metres west of the west kerb line of Vicarage Close for a distance of 165 metres in a westerly direction.

The Order will come into effect from Saturday 17 March 2007 until Friday 17 August 2007 and will operate Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm.

2. A7 MAIN ROAD (ARBORY) (TEMPORARY IMPOSITION OF 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2007 – the effect of which will be to impose a 30 mph speed limit on the A7 Main Road, Arbory, from the existing 30 mph speed limit in a westerly direction to the western boundary of the property ‘Strathallen’.

The Order will come into effect from Saturday 17 March 2007 until Friday 17 August 2007 and will operate Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm.

3. A7 MAIN ROAD (ARBORY) (TEMPORARY IMPOSITION OF 50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2007 – the effect of which will be to impose a 50 mph speed limit on the A7 Main Road, Arbory, from the western boundary of the property ‘Strathallen’ to a point 105 metres east of the east kerb line of Cronk-y-Thatcher.

The Order will come into effect from Saturday 17 March 2007 until Friday 17 August 2007.

This Order imposes temporary speed limits of 20 mph, 30 mph and 50 mph on sections of the A7 Main Road, in the Parish of Arbory.
