Easter contest prize-winners receive treats 8 April 2007

YOUNG readers have won tasty Easter treats after entering a contest run by the Family Library, part of the Youth Service.

Members were invited to decorate an egg shape. The winners were Laura Matthews, 12, Kristina Iankova, nine, Joseph Kissack, seven, and Josh Brown, five.

The winners were presented with certificates and large chocolate Easter eggs. The next event at the library at Noble's Hall in Westmoreland Road will be the launch of the summer reading scheme, which will have a local theme.
