Department awaits meeting over EuroManx 8 October 2007

The Department is arranging to meet the group which owns EuroManx to discuss the implications to the airline of a management buyout.

EuroManx is one of several companies which come under the umbrella of Corporate Jet Services and it has been confirmed that a buyout of the group has gone through.

Hon David Anderson MHK, Minister for Transport, said:

‘I can confirm that CJS has been the subject of a management buyout. The new organisation is called Quest Aviation Services. We are awaiting a press statement from QAS and look forward to meeting with them in due course.
‘Obviously, until that time, we are unable to make any further comment. However, we understand that it is business as usual at EuroManx.’
