October Half Term Programme for Children with Additional Needs 23 October 2007

October Half Term is fast approaching and Sports Development has two Indoor Multi Sport Sessions taking place at the NSC on the 29th October and 2nd November.

The Additional Needs Section of the Sports Development Unit now has a substantial amount of specialist sports activity equipment that can be used to benefit children with additional needs both physically and socially.

Multi Sport is, as the name suggests, a collection of different sports and activities. For many children who have short concentration spans these sports activities are excellent. They also have the added advantage of being able to highlight skills and therefore point children in a particular direction.

Information and pre-registration forms can be downloaded from the website www.gov.im/sport or contact Dave Callaghan, Disability Sports Development Officer, Sports Development Unit on (01624) 688559, email: dave.callaghan@msr.dtl.gov.im
