Department of Health and Social Security Embraces Private Sector Knowledge 6 November 2007

The Department of Health and Social Security is pleased to announce that Tony Quine, Customer Service Operations Manager for the Royal Bank of Scotland International, will join the Department on a year’s secondment on 5th November 2007, as part of the DHSS’s continuing commitment to provide excellent customer services.

Hon W E Teare MHK, Minister for Health and Social Security said,

“This is a unique opportunity to gain an outside perspective of the way the DHSS approaches its customer service. Tony has a wide range of experience within the Private Sector, managing large and diverse teams in banking and operational environments. It is this experience the Department will seek to utilise to fine tune certain procedures. I look forward to working with Tony to ensure mutual benefits for Government, the Private Sector and most importantly the people of Isle of Man, by sharing knowledge, skills, experience and resources.”
