Isle of Man Post Office Yearbook - A Roaring Success! 3 December 2007

The 2007 Yearbook from Isle of Man Post Office has been unveiled and is a must for any Isle of Man TT Races fan.

As 2007 was the most important year in the history of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy road races, Isle of Man Post Office has collaborated with Manx-born motor sport writer Mick Duckworth and Lily Publications to produce a thrilling volume that captures the true sense of celebration and international camaraderie that typifies this legendry event.

‘Roaring Success’ is on sale now and encapsulates the adrenaline and atmosphere of the 100th anniversary of the TT Races and is bursting with specially commissioned photographs. It’s published in a limited and numbered edition of 1,750 copies.

The book also contains all of the stamps issued by Isle of Man Post Office this year including the Centenary of the TT Races, Centenary of Scouting, A Royal Partnership, Norman Sayle, Maps of the Isle of Man and the European Vintage Ploughing Championship. In addition, it is great value for money at just £40 which is the value of stamps inside the book and is an ideal Christmas present for friends or relatives.

Dot Tilbury, Manager of the Philatelic Bureau, of Isle of Man Post Office said: “This book has captured the events of TT 2007 in a way that transports you right back in amongst all the action of a memorable two weeks – it’s bound to sell out quickly!”

‘Roaring Success’ is available to buy at www.iompost.com/stamps/ and from some of the Island’s bookshops.
