Sports Development Questionnaire and the Winners are ….. 6 December 2007

Following the delivery of the 2007 Summer Holiday Sports Development Activity Programme, Manx Sport and Recreation, Sports Development Unit issued a questionnaire to all its customers.

Paul Bridson, Sports Development Manager said:

‘This annual piece of research and feedback is an integral part of our customer care policy and our aim to constantly improve the service we provide and deliver. Our activity programme has grown considerably during the last 3 years and has seen annual attendances top 12,000 children. We value the comments and feedback that parents and children give us and have used this information to make several changes over the last two years.’

Ten returned questionnaires were picked out from a random draw and the children will each receive a £22 voucher to spend on future Sports Development Holiday Programmes. Children and parents were asked for their feedback on issues regarding the location of activities, the variety of the schemes, Health and Safety, the publicity and marketing material used, value for money and the coaching staff who deliver the activities.

Paul said:

‘The feedback we received this year was hugely positive, however we have planned some future changes based on common themes that parents have suggested.’

The Sports Development Unit are currently running a comprehensive term time (after school) programme of activities at the NSC on Monday – Friday, and shall be facilitating a sports activity programme during the Christmas holidays.
