New NHS Dental Practice 25 January 2008

The Department is pleased to announce the recent opening of a new NHS dental practice in Ballasalla.

‘Abbey Dental’, owned and operated by principal dentist Mr Mark Hepworth, opened on 7th January 2008 following the negotiation to provide NHS dental services nearly a year ago, prior to the current financial difficulties being experienced by the Department.

The practice has taken 1,500 patients from the list of patients awaiting a dentist, substantially reducing the number of people still awaiting allocation.

The Department wishes Mr Hepworth well for the future.
