Schools to re-open 29 November 2010

THE Department of Education and Children wishes to advise that all schools, the Pre School Assessment Centre and Isle of Man College will be open on Tuesday 30 November as normal. This decision has been made on the basis of the current weather forecast. Should there be deterioration in conditions overnight an announcement will be made at 7am tomorrow morning. The Department has been advised by Bus Vannin that there may be restriction to some school bus services which will be announced direct by them at 7.15am tomorrow.

Parents are asked to take care when dropping children off at school as some car parks will not have been gritted and may still be icy.
