Exhibitors wanted for the 2011 Isle of Man Food & Drink Festival 12 April 2011

Applications can now be made to exhibit at the third Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival, to be held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2011 at the Nunnery Gardens of the Isle of Man International Business School, Douglas.

Businesses can get involved with the Island’s premier celebration of local food and drink by exhibiting and selling their products, providing a demonstration in the Food Theatre or supplying catering for Festival visitors. Celebrity chef James Martin will be attending the Festival on the Sunday and organisers are planning a packed programme of events for the weekend.

To be eligible to take part in the Festival, businesses need to meet the following criteria:

  • All produce sold must be grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed on the Island or where serving and preparing food, this must contain local produce
  • Local means produce from the Isle of Man.

To apply, exhibitors need to obtain an Information sheet and application form from the Department or download one from http://www.gov.im/defa/food_festival/exhibitor_info.xml It should be completed and returned to Audrey Fowler at DEFA, Thie Slieau Whallian, Foxdale Road, St John's IM4 3AS or audrey.fowler@gov.im by 13th May 2011
