Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road 29 May 2012

The Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road is still closed due to the earlier road traffic accident. The Department of Infrastructure is aiming to have it reopened prior to the TT Course being closed this evening. However, due to the accident the surface of the road is not fit for vehicles to travel across and needs repairing. The repairs will not take place until tomorrow, Wednesday, and there will be temporary traffic signals on the road overnight. Whilst the repairs are being carried out the road will be closed. The closure times are 9 am until 2 pm. Traffic will be diverted over the Ballaragh Road during this period.
