Political membership changes 16 July 2012

CHIEF Minister Allan Bell MHK has announced changes to the political membership of Departments, Statutory Boards and other Government bodies as follows:

  • John Houghton MHK to be chairman of the Water and Sewerage Authority (subject to Tynwald approval) and to be a member of the Department of Infrastructure. Mr Houghton remains vice chairman of the Manx Electricity Authority
  • Peter Karran MHK to be a member of the Department of Home Affairs
  • Alan Crowe MLC to leave the Department of Home Affairs, remaining a member of the Department of Economic Development
  • Leonard Singer MHK to leave the Civil Service Commission, joining the Department of Health and the Public Sector Pensions Authority. Mr Singer will remain a member of the Department of Social Care
  • Dudley Butt MLC to leave the Public Sector Pensions Authority, joining the Civil Service Commission. Mr Butt will remain a member of the Department of Health
