Christmas Closure Notice 2012 17 December 2012

Members of the public are asked to note that most Government Offices will be closed on the following days over the Christmas and New Year period:-

Tuesday 25 December 2012

Wednesday 26 December 2012

Thursday 27 December 2012

Tuesday 1 January 2013

The exceptions to this are:-

General Registry and Courts of Justice

Friday 21 December 2012 – General Registry Offices, the Douglas Civil Registry Offices, the Tribunals and Probate Office and the Courts of Justice will close at 12 noon.

Saturday 29 December 2012 - All Civil Registry Offices will be closed*.

*For death registrations required on this date please contact a Funeral Director who will make the necessary registration arrangements with the Ramsey, Castletown or Peel Registrars (as applicable).

Passport, Immigration and Nationality Office

Friday 21 December 2012 – open from 9.30 am to 12.15 pm and 2.15 pm – 4.00 pm.

Welcome Centre

Closed - Sundays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day

Alterations to normal (8.00 am – 6.00 pm) opening hours:

Monday 24 December 2012 – 8.00 am – 4.00 pm

Thursday 27 December 2012 – 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

Monday 31 December 2012 – 8.00 am – 4.00 pm

Manx Museum and House of Manannan

Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day.

Open 27 December 2012 (excluding Library and Reading Room)

iMuseum, Kingswood Grove, Douglas

Closed Monday 24 December 2012 – Tuesday 1 January 2013. Re-opens Wednesday 2 January 2013.

On Monday 24 December 2012 and Monday 31 December 2012 closing times for all other public counters will be 4.00 pm.
