About the Show

Do you believe in a thing called love?

OK - permission to land granted!

Yes, you got that right – THE DARKNESS & Toseland are coming to the Villa Marina, Douglas, Isle Of Man, SAT 1 JUNE 2013, during the TT celebrations.

THE DARKNESS Brothers Justin and Dan Hawkins with Frankie Pouillain and Ed Graham bust the rock world apart in 2003 with multi-award winning hit I Believe In A Thing Called Love from quadruple platinum album Permission To Land, picking up three Brit Awards (Group, Rock Act and Album) in the process. Hit singles, hit albums continued to follow and now....

They’re back! new album Hot Cakes has been selling like … er .. hot cakes and the band remain one of the most exciting and incendiary rock acts of recent times and Rockingmann events are delighted to bring them to the island to join us for our first, soon to be legendary event!

TOSELAND Some people just have it all don’t they. If it’s not enough to be a double World Superbike Champion AND marry one of the biggest selling female artists in the world, James Toseland has only gone and found some incredible soul and rock pipes, a voice right up there with Axl Rose and Jon Bon Jovi. An amazing range and pitch, with real power …

Now collaborating with Little Angels legend Toby Jepson and pursuing a full-time rock career with an all-consuming passion, James is showing that grit, determination and will to succeed - but now in the world of hard rock.

It’s going to sell out, OK? GET YOUR TICKET SHARPISH!! It’s going to be great summer of rock on the rock…!
