Brewery Tour for Computer Society 18 January 2005

The Isle of Man section of the British Computer Society have arranged an Okells Brewery Tour to be held on Thursday 27th January.

The tour will start in the Brewhouse and attendees be shown how the raw ingredients of beer, malt, sugar, hops, yeast and water are turned into the finished beer. The tour then passes through the Lager Fermentation area and then to the ground floor of the Brewery where it can be seen how the beers are put into containers, kegs and casks. It will also possible to see how the production process is backed by extensive quality control checks in the Brewery laboratory."

The event commences at 7:30pm at the Okells Brewery, Kewaigue and will conclude no later than 10:30pm following a buffet and an opportunity to sample the various product lines in the hospitality bar. Soft drinks will be provided for designated drivers - strictly no alcohol for drivers.
