Wallace & Gromit Tour in search for Cracking Contraptions 15 May 2006

Wallace & Gromit LogoWallace and Gromit are set to make their debut on the Isle of Man next Monday when they travel over with Yamaha TT racer Guy Martin.

During their visit the unlikely pair, along with Guy Martin, will tour some of the Island’s schools and youth groups to raise awareness of the Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Foundation and to promote Wrong Trousers Day which takes place on Friday 23 June …..

And to make the visit even more fun, Wallace is challenging children of all ages to take part in a ‘Bike-O-Matic’ invention competition. This will be a great opportunity for children to use their imagination and to win some fantastic Wallace and Gromit goodies.

There will be five age categories in the competition and the winners will be chosen by Guy Martin. Each group will have one winner who will receive a Wallace and Gromit goodie bag and certificate which will be presented by Tourism and Leisure Minister David Cretney MHK at the Villa Marina on the final evening of the visit, Wednesday 24 May.
